Challenge

The goal was to demonstrate how far OpenCart can be redesigned without breaking its core business logic, with a modern storefront, strong mobile experience and cleaner commerce journeys.

What was built

AdeptDEV rebuilt the header and mega-menu, product-card states, responsive layout and core catalog journeys. AJAX quantity sync, mini-cart, favorites/compare and no-reload visual states were added while preserving OpenCart product/search/cart/checkout/account behavior and RU/RO language structure.

Outcome

The result demonstrates a production approach to legacy eCommerce: the experience can be radically modernized while preserving proven catalog and ordering logic instead of rewriting the store unnecessarily.
